What sits outside it

Three things, and I would rather you knew about all of them before you commit than discover them on an invoice.

Domain registration
Roughly £10–£30 a year, paid to the registrar. I will help you set it up.
Stock photography
If licensed images are needed, that cost is quoted separately and agreed first.
Ongoing changes after launch
Covered by a care plan from £19.99 a month, which also includes hosting. Or quoted per job.

After launch

What counts as a small change?

Text edits, price updates, swapping photos, changing opening hours, adding a team member or a new service to an existing page. The everyday things.

What doesn't?

Whole new pages, new functionality, or a redesign. Those are quoted separately, and I'll always tell you the price before doing anything.

Am I tied in?

No. Cancel any time and you keep the website. If you leave, I'll help move the hosting rather than hold it hostage.

Bigger than a package?

The packages cover most small business websites. Anything larger is quoted properly rather than squeezed into a tier that does not fit.

Larger websites

More pages, multiple service categories, blogs, search, custom forms and SEO landing pages.

Ecommerce

Shopify or custom storefronts with product pages, checkout, payments and tracking.

Web applications

Bookings, customer accounts, payments, dashboards, portals and automations.

A quote costs you nothing. Tell me what you are trying to do and I will give you a real number and a real timescale. If what you need is smaller than you thought, I will tell you that too.

Questions about money.

The sharper ones, which tend to come up once someone is actually considering it. The general questions about cost are on the FAQ.

Because it is a genuine introductory rate, not a permanent fake sale. £200, £300 and £450 are what these packages are worth and what I intend to charge once the portfolio and the reviews justify it. The lower number is what you pay today, and it is fixed for your project regardless of what happens to my prices afterwards.

I tell you the cost before doing the work, and you decide. Nothing gets added to your invoice that you have not agreed to first. If the extra thing is small I will usually just do it, because nickel-and-diming a £210 project is a miserable way to run a business.

The deposit covers work already carried out, so it is not refundable once I have started. What you will never be charged for is work not yet done. If I am the one who cannot finish, anything you have paid for undelivered work comes back to you.

For the standard packages, no. They are small enough that half up front and half on completion is already close to instalments. For larger projects, payment is usually split across agreed stages, which is set out in the quote before you commit.

The prices shown are what you pay. If that ever changes because of my VAT position, it will be stated clearly on your quote before you agree to anything.

Then you pay for part of a package. If your business genuinely only needs one page, I am not going to talk you into five. Tell me what you actually need and I will price that.

Want a price for your business?

Tell me roughly what you need. I'll come back with a fixed price, what's included and how long it'll take, usually the same day.

Or email nik@ivanovdigital.com. I usually reply the same day.
